You slowly open your eyes as the warm orange light of sunrise creeps into the master bedroom. Quickly, you move to the shining white ensuite and prepare for your first ski of the 2021 winter season.

Ready for a hearty breakfast, you walk into the kitchen, admiring it's high ceilings, bright color scheme and sheer size of the area. With the kitchen, living and dining areas all smartly integrated, the large windows wrapping around the other side of the building give way to one of the most prized views of stunning Mount Hotham and beyond.

It's a 'blue bird day,' with fresh powder, clear skies and full snow coverage of every run- no time to waste. You leave a note under each of the three bedrooms and gratefully utilise Sub Zero’s ski in- ski out position.

As you reverse from the adjacent heated car space, a slight sadness overcomes you at the thought of having to leave the mountain abode you've come to greatly appreciate for its position, spaciousness and all its little extras. But then you smile, remembering this is your chalet- and that you will be back very soon!
