I was surprised. This is a MUCH bigger home than I first thought. I also wasn't expecting high ceilings, or another activity area at the rear of the house. The attention to detail is second to none both inside and out; the street presentation is excellent, and it just keeps getting better as your inspection progresses.
And if you're thinking about BUILDING, well you might want to arrange your inspection before you sign any building contracts !
Built in 2016 this home has been maintained to a high standard and improved very progressively over the last 4.5 years - I'm tempted to say that there really is nothing more to do.
Entry is via a wide format timber door giving way to the generous hallway which makes moving in or out, exceptionally easy. You might also notice the expertly laid 60 cm porcelain style floor tiles that sweep down the hall and into the living area.
But first, the master bedroom which is positioned at the front of the house, offers plenty of space with a properly organised walk-in robe and en-suite bathroom with a very clever design - which hides the toilet (one side) and shower (the other) behind that main vanity unit, as our pictures show.
Shift workers will love this - black out blinds plunge the room into total darkness - you can't see your own hand in front of your face. Really !
The other bedrooms are all good news, with double mirror built-ins and plenty of power points, a feature that is carried through the entire house. Clearly someone thought about the design and planned it properly.
The kitchen is both inviting and spacious with plenty of Caesarstone bench space, an easy clean ceramic cooktop, corner pantry and the island unit with 3 large and stylish pendant lights taking centre stage.
The open plan lounge and dining is suitably spacious with stacker door access out to the comfortable outdoor entertainment area which is incorporated under the main roofline of the house.
The family bathroom is similarly stylish however the laundry deserves special mention - it offers lots of additional cupboard space which works exceptionally well - A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN IT'S PLACE comes to mind.
Moving towards the back of the house you'll come across the other living space - a rumpus or activity room (you choose) which also offers access to the outdoor entertainment area.
Moving outside, you'll find solar panels up there on the roof which combine to offer a solid bill busting 5kW system and while you're out there, it's hard to ignore those mature low maintenance gardens that offer a very tasteful backdrop to the outdoor area.
So if you're keen to enter the property market in style, then an early inspection here at Birdwing would be a great opening move and provides a very high bench mark for anything else that you might see …
