Owned by the same family for three generations, 'Oceanview' comprises of 1965ha in total, with 1100ha considered arable. The soil types consist of gravelly loam, sandy loam, sand over gravel and lesser areas of shale/clay based soils. Then property receives approximately 400mm rainfall annually, with 300 - 350mm during the growing season.

The annual cropping program consists of up to 550ha of wheat, barley and lupins, with the balance left to annual pasture (most areas with either well established blue lupins or clover) and regenerating hard seeded serradella.
