Stalwarts of the Qld dairy industry and owners of the popular 4Real Milk brand, the Dennis family have decided it's time to hang up their boots and retire. It is now our pleasure to bring their Tamrookum dairy farm and milk processing facility to the market. Since purchasing the 149ha property in the 1930s, the Dennis's have endured the trials and tribulations experienced by the industry and have emerged as leaders in their field; firstly with the introduction of four, Lely robotic units in 2010 and more recently with the construction of their on – site, milk processing facility.
The sale will include the freehold land (3 titles) and water allocations, the Holstein herd of 418 head and the plant and equipment for both the farm and milk business.
Of the 149 hectares, approximately 121 is under irrigation and water availability on the farm ensures it is largely self – sufficient in terms of feed. There's a 350ML allocation from the Logan River, a 58ML water harvesting licence, six bores and an underground mains network of approximately 10km.

Dairy:

- 42 000L storage in the dairy (for raw milk), 8 500L in the milk factory (for processed milk only)
- 110kva backup generator – runs dairy, milk cooling, factory and the 4 houses.

Milk factory:
- Processing capacity of 70 000L / week or 10 000L / day (Council approved)
- Currently processing 40 000L / week (including yoghurt and cheeses) with genuine potential to expand
- Products include full cream, pasteurised only milk, flavoured milks, cheeses and yoghurt
- Facilities to homogenise in the factory (currently unused)
- 3 types of bottles – 2L plastic, 1L plastic and 750ml glass
- Cold room storage for approx. 20 000L of processed milk
- Milk is currently distributed through more than 300 retailers, including Woolworths and IGA.
