A word from our seller:
I loved the quirky character with original details remaining like the exposed brick wall up the staircase, the dark beams, arches and the colour scheme in the kitchen. The bathroom, especially the spotted gum slab floating vanity and cast iron clawfoot bath. I designed the refresh and my dad built it. Fun fact – he was once Joh Bjelke-Peterson's personal carpenter! The huge bedrooms and massive amounts of storage – the attic with pull down ladder is really cool. I love how downstairs always stays really cool in summer and has private garden views out of every window. There's a friendly community feeling in the complex. The Chalet Court Christmas drinks each year are a highlight. I really enjoyed spending many an afternoon and evening in my courtyard entertaining my friends or meeting up with them at our local, the Old Canberra Inn. Walking the dog along the beautiful walking paths throughout Lyneham, O'Conner and Turner especially in Autumn when the leaves are turning. It was so convenient being so central and able to walk to Dickson, Lyneham, O'Connor, Braddon and a quick couple minutes or so to the city on the tram.
