Elmwood 10 is a fully electric home. It generates its own power on site using a 6.6kw solar hybrid Solar Edge system and LG Resu10kwh battery. This includes an electric boosted solar hot water system and is wired for an electric car. This allows the house to be completely independent of gas – including the Electrolux induction cooktop. Elmwood 10 has been air pressure tested to ensure it is completely air tight. This European technology, accompanied with R5 ceiling insulation, R2.5 external wall insulation and high performance, double glazed windows, traps the air inside the home to remove draughts and unnecessary air coming in or escaping. In addition, a heat recovery ventilation system has been installed to ensure there is constant fresh air ducted into the home. It has been tested at 2.9 air changes per hour and the air is filtered with a heat exchanger. This keeps Elmwood 10 always filled with fresh air that has been filtered from allergens and pollutants which makes it a dust-free house. It also ensures the energy in the air is being preserved to maximise your living comfort – so the house will be cool in summer and warm in winter whilst reducing your costs.

This home also boasts modern design features to provide a luxury living experience. There is a concrete ExoTec Vero feature wall that runs along the inside entrance hall for an urban and contemporary feel.
