Originally belonged to Thomas Drewitt, an English gentleman from Cornwell. Drewitt built a two room stone cottage on a rise above the creek, in the Cornish style using local sandstone. Thomas Drewitt was as a baker in Heathcote in the 1860s, a member of the Roads Board and was involved in the establishment of a school at Wild Duck Creek.<br/> <br/>Now affectionately known as ‘Drewitt’s Cottage’, one room is a bedroom and the other a lounge room with fire place and split system.
