Landline phone and satellite internet. No TV or mobile reception in the valley. But also no power bills or water charges :-) .8x200w panels and small inverter. Wood stove. Small chest fridge.
3 1/2 hours from Canberra or 6 hours drive from Melbourne.
The valley has a good growing season. Firewood is essential for heating, cooking and hot water (wood stove does the three). Gas ring for quick cuppas or meals.
Minimal work locally so tenant would need to be self funded or able to work from home.
Prefer tenants to have an environmental ethic.
Possible rent reduction in exchange for help around the property.
