I bedroom unit - NRAS Affordable Housing Scheme

The units to rent at Common Ground Gungahlin, Canberra are available via the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS). Inspections available by appointment only. Before you can inspect the property, you need to fill in the application form and be income eligible.

Eligibility
You may be eligible if you can prove that your annual household income was less than the limits below over the past 12 months. The weekly cost of rent does not exceed more than 30% of your weekly household income.

Single person $52,324 pa
Couple $72,341 pa

NRAS Housing Scheme
The NRAS scheme provides Australians on low to moderate incomes with an opportunity to rent homes at a rate that is below market value rent. Eligibility is strictly income dependent for single person or couple (no family or children as it is a one bedroom unit).

Complete and check it thoroughly. Return the form via email or in person with ALL supporting documents as outlined.
These supporting documents include proof of income for all household members over the past 12 months, proof of identity via photo ID license or passport, 12 months’ worth of bank statements to prove your current assets and a copy of a Residential Tenancy Agreement or three detailed rent receipts with Landlords full name, address and phone number.
