We work collaboratively with landholders to protect nature on private land forever so that Victoria's most threatened plants and wildlife are conserved for future generations. Working with private landholders in all regions of Victoria, we ensure that precious native habitat is conserved forever, using permanent on-title agreements (covenants). Since our establishmen in 1972, we have secured 100,000 hectares of habitat on private land forever â places that are home to some of our rarest species such as the Helmeted Honeyeater, Victoriaâs critically endangered bird emblem.
